Stephen Kallir is Chief Investment Officer at Bluesky Equities. As CIO, Stephen leads investment strategy and risk management across the firm's full multi-asset portfolio. In addition to his core role at Bluesky, Stephen also serves as Portfolio Manager for the Hunter Family Foundation, a private charitable organization focused within Alberta. He has been with the firm since 2019. Prior to Bluesky, Stephen spent several years as a Senior Analyst at Wood Mackenzie, a global energy research firm, where he provided financial valuation and commercial analysis across multiple resource themes and companies in Canada. Earlier in his career, he worked as a subsurface engineer for a major Canadian oilsands producer. Stephen is a CFA Charterholder, a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Alberta, and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with distinction from the University of Alberta.
