Partner, Head of Greater China, Apax
Richard Zhang is a Partner and the Head of Greater China, leading Apax operations in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Southeast Asia. He joined Apax in 2008.
Prior to joining Apax, Richard was a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company and the Chairman of McKinsey Shanghai. He had over 15 years of management consulting experience in the US and China.
Richard has a Master’s in Finance from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BS and a BA from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC). He was selected as the commencement speaker for UTC’s graduating class of 2024.
Richard serves on non-profit boards including the advisory boards of the School of Education and Social Policy and J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is also a co-founder and member of the board of the Future Forum, the largest non-governmental, nonprofit science promotion and youth education community in China. He was a member of the Boao Asia Forum Young Leaders’ Group.
张曦轲先生于 2008 年加入安佰深，现任安佰深股权投资集团（Apax Partners）的全球高级合伙人兼大中华地区总裁，负责安佰深在中国大陆、香港、台湾及东南亚地区的业务。
在加入安佰深之前，张先生担任麦肯锡高级合伙人、上海分公司董事长。张先生亦是麦肯锡历史上第一位中国大陆背景的华人董事合伙人，他在美国和中国拥有超过 15 年的管理咨询经验。
张先生拥有美国西北大学凯洛格管理学院的金融硕士学位及田纳西大学查塔努加分校的会计、化学和经济学学士学位。张先生获选为田纳西大学查塔努加分校2024届毕业典礼的演讲嘉宾。
张先生现任美国西北大学教育与社会政策学院以及凯洛格管理学院的顾问委员会成员，并是未来论坛
（中国最大的非官方科学促进组织）的发起人及现任理事之一，亦曾任博鳌亚洲论坛青年领袖。
