General Counsel, Tikehau Capital
Geoffroy Renard is the General Counsel of Tikehau Capital, a global alternative asset management group with €35.5 billion of assets under management (at 31 March 2022). Tikehau Capital has developed a wide range of expertise across four asset classes (private debt, real assets, private equity and capital markets strategies) as well as multi-asset and special opportunities strategies. Geoffroy oversees the Group's legal and compliance department.
He joined Tikehau Capital as Secretary General in 2013, following the acquisition of Salvepar by Tikehau Capital. Previously, he worked for nine years as a lawyer at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in Paris and in New York where he specialised in private and public M&A, equity & debt capital markets and financing.
Between 2002 and 2003, he also worked in the Finance Department of Crédit Lyonnais.
Geoffroy Renard is a member of the Haut Comité Juridique de la Place Financière de Paris since 2017.
