Denise Hu

Denise Hu founded multi-family office Archer Asia in 2009 and has over 25 years of Asian hedge fund industry and market experience. She runs the firm’s investment functions and oversees a team which advises a number of esteemed families and institutions on Asian alternative investment funds. The Archer Asia Fund is an Asian focused multi strategy fund of hedge funds that launched in 2009 with cornerstone investor Rockhampton Management. Her and her team’s mission is to be the partner of choice for global allocators seeking a trusted channel to access the Asian investment opportunity. Denise began her career as an equity derivatives strategist at Merrill Lynch. In 2003, she joined SAIL Advisors, the family office of Robert W. Miller and became a Portfolio Manager and led the firm’s Asian hedge fund research and investment portfolios. Denise is co-chair of Education Committee of 100 Women in Finance– Hong Kong Chapter and she is also a director of the Fitzroy Philanthropic Fund, which supports the educational needs for the underprivileged in Hong Kong, Japan and Australia.
