With over 20 years of experience in banking, Sam Xu is the Country Executive for BNY Mellon China.
Sam joined from Standard Chartered in 2018 where he was Head of Transaction Banking for China covering cash and liquidity management, trade finance and securities services. Prior to Standard Chartered, Sam worked for JP Morgan primarily in Transaction Banking business. He held various positions in Shanghai, Hong Kong, New York and Toronto.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Fudan University, China and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto.
