Francis Lau

Francis Lau has 18 years of capital markets experience with a diverse background in investment banking, merchant banking, corporate restructuring and investment management. Prior to founding the Lucida Capital in 2024, Mr. Lau worked at Vantage Asset Management, a Toronto-based hedge fund manager where he was a Senior Portfolio Manager. Prior to joining Vantage in 2010, Mr. Lau was an investment banker at BMO Capital Markets, focusing on REITs. Mr. Lau graduated in 2006 from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Computer Science and Economics (double major) and is a CFA Charterholder.
