Rivani

Rivani is a Director at Godwin Austen, where she advises financial institutions on compliance with regulatory and risk management matters. Her practice includes regulated brokers-dealers who are members of SGX, fund management companies, corporate finance, and advisory services on a range of capital markets products and life policies.

Prior to Godwin Austen, Rivani served as a Compliance Advisor to a diverse array of regulated financial institutions with varying business models and investment strategies, including broker-dealers, asset managers, and financial advisers. Her core competencies include providing strategic advisory on regulatory matters and regulatory filings, identifying and resolving compliance issues and interpreting Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations to navigate complex compliance frameworks.

Rivani was formerly a Senior Consultant at a local professional services firm. As a key member of the Regulatory Compliance Team, her expertise included assessing marketing campaigns and formulating essential compliance documents. Rivani also has significant experience in the delivery of training sessions accredited by the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore (IBF) tailored to Singapore’s fund management regulatory framework.

Rivani holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Banking and Finance from the University of London, and she is fluent in English.
