Rashmi Soans

Background/experience: 
Rashmi is an international tax partner based in New York with over 15 years of public accounting experience. Rashmi has worked in the New York and Mumbai offices of PwC.
Over the years, Rashmi has led several projects involving cross-border investments into multi-jurisdiction platforms. She advises marquee infrastructure funds on their international tax planning, holding and financing structures, inbound and outbound structuring, repatriation of earnings, and restructuring of global and regional operations.
Over the last five years, Rashmi has worked on multiple renewables' transactions in Europe and Latin America advising her clients through tax diligence and deal structuring, and continuing to assist them with restructuring at the portfolio company-level.
Rashmi also advises funds on cross-border investor aspects, assisting them on a range of issues in different countries involving sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and other institutional investors.
Having spent over 15 years at PwC in two countries, Rashmi has developed a strong network with teams that focus on the real asset space across PwC firms globally.
