Carmen Lam joined Albourne Partners in 2008. She is a Partner and a Senior Analyst in Albourne’s Operational Due Diligence Team. Since 2013, Carmen has been dedicated to private markets operational due diligence, including private equity, real estate, and real assets coverage. Prior to Albourne, Carmen joined the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (“CPPIB”) in 2007 as part of the Operational Due Diligence Team. Before that she was a Senior Financial Analyst at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (“OTPP”), primarily responsible for the financial reporting for OTPP’s alternative investment portfolio. Carmen started her career with Ernst & Young LLP (Canada) in the Assurance & Advisory practice focused on financial services institutions. Carmen has a MSc in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto. She is a CFA Charterholder, and a Certified Public Accountant (Illinois).
