Nina Fischer

Nina Fischer is a Managing Associate at Simmons & Simmons Middle East LLP, where she is a key member of the financial markets and financial services regulatory practices. Since joining the firm in January 2020, Nina has played a significant role in advising leading global asset managers on the provision of cross-border financial services across the GCC. Her expertise includes managing the process for setting up a local presence in the UAE (DIFC/ADGM) or KSA and obtaining regulatory licences for prominent asset managers across various asset classes. Nina is actively involved in advising on regulatory requirements in 'onshore' UAE, including recent changes by the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), and provides guidance on the regulatory framework of the Saudi Capital Market Authority (CMA). She engages with regional regulators through thought leadership initiatives and is an active member of various industry associations.
