AIMA Australia Chair
Alistair has a distinguished 25-year career in the investment management industry, holding global leadership and investment positions in London, New York, and Sydney. His responsibilities have encompassed investing, trading, risk management, portfolio management, data, analytics, artificial intelligence, strategic planning, governance and policy development, operating models, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, as well as team development and coaching.
Currently, Alistair serves as the CEO of Confirma Partners, an independent advisory group that collaborates with investment management companies, superfunds, family offices, wealth advisors, trustees, and service providers across the global investment and funds management industry.
Alistair chairs the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) Australia Executive Committee and the AIMA Australia Investor Advisory Committee. He holds several executive and non-executive roles, including director of Australian Students Asset Management, co-founder of Elevating Women’s Voices and Women in Alternatives, and director of Quantum Women. Additionally, he serves on multiple investment, governance, risk and advisory committees.
Alistair's academic credentials include a PhD in Econometrics, an MSc in Finance, and a BSc in Economics and Finance.
