Chief Executive Officer, Marshall Wace Asia
Amit Rajpal is Chief Executive Officer of Marshall Wace Asia and as Portfolio Manager manages the Global Financial Services Strategy. He joined the firm in 2008 and was made partner in 2011 and serves of the Partnership Management Committee of the firm.
Previously, Amit was Head of Proprietary Trading at Morgan Stanley Asia, having previously been Head of Global and Asian Financials Research -he was one of the youngest Managing Director at the age of 30.
He is also the founder of Indian Fintech firm, Niyogin (NIYOGIN IN) where he serves as non-executive Chairman – he is passionate about the mission of creating an ecosystem for underserved micro businesses by leveraging technology, ground distribution and data partnerships especially in rural areas.
