James McGinnigle is the Head of Information Security at Marshall Wace Asset Management Ltd. From a software development background, James initially developed an interest in cyber security in the course of developing and securing web applications, in a personal and professional capacity. James has experience across the utilities, telecommunications and finance industries, through his work at IBM and as an independent consultant before joining Marshall Wace in 2015. He is a strong believer is leveraging automation to address cyber security problems and embraces an integrated “DevSecOps” approach to managing cyber risk within technology teams.
