Jim Park has nearly 35 years of experience in government, business, and the nonprofit sector. He currently serves as the CEO of the Association of Asian American Investment Managers (AAAIM), a leading nonprofit dedicated to advancing Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) representation in investment management.

Aside from Park’s extensive work in the private sector and investment field, he also brings government and policy experience spans over two decades. He began his career as a lobbyist in Washington, D.C., advocating for low-income communities, and later served as a political appointee in the Clinton Administration. He was Vice President at Freddie Mac, where he worked on regulatory and business issues, and served as Chair of the Federal Reserve’s Consumer Advisory Council.

Beyond his work in finance and policy, Park has contributed to various national organizations. He was the Chair of the Audit & Finance Committee for the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE) based in Kenya and currently chairs the Program Committee of the Smithsonian Institution’s SITES advisory board, which brings arts and education programming to communities across the U.S.   Additionally, Jim served on the board of several organizations dedicated to underrepresented communities including Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF), Mercy Housing, Asian American for Equality (AAFE), Prosperity Now and other organizations.
