Portfolio Manager, Skyway Pacific Research & Capital Management
Originally from New Jersey, Christopher Xu brings 15+ years of alternatives experience, including hedge funds and private equity. He started his career at Goldman Sachs in the Alternative Investments & Manager Selection Group (AIMS) in New York, where he researched equity, fixed income, and quant managers. He then spent time in private equity including Greenfield Partners (Starwood Capital spinout) and C-III Partners (NY-based distressed CMBS). Prior to joining Skyway, Chris was a portfolio manager at Synergy, a HK-based investment firm with SAIL Advisors heritage, where he invested in hedge funds globally ranging from Credit/CB and M&A Arbitrage to Macro/Commodities. Chris graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in the Woodrow Wilson School of International Relations and a Certificate in Finance. Chris’s senior thesis on political economy of foreign M&A was published by the Oxford University Press.
