Head of Investments, Hiscox ILS
Aaron joined Hiscox ILS in 2017 as Head of Investments and is responsible for leading the development and implementation of investment strategies, overseeing the construction of portfolios and developing new opportunities in collaboration with the sourcing/underwriting team. He has over eleven years’ experience in reinsurance and insurance linked securities and deep understanding of financial concepts.
Prior to joining Hiscox ILS, Aaron was an underwriter at Lloyd’s Syndicate Novae where he sourced, underwrote and constructed a diversified portfolio of property reinsurance and retro business. He was previously a broker at Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) specialized in Power, Terrorism and Property.
Aaron holds a CFA and CPCU and BA (Hons) in Business Administration from IESIDE Business School and the University of Cardiff. In addition, he completed the Harvard Business School's Executive MBA alternative.
