Senior Policy Officer, European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA)
Kian is a Senior Policy Officer for investment management at ESMA in Paris where he acts, inter alia, as the Rapporteur of the ESMA group in charge of supervisory convergence work in the area of investment management (IMSC-OWG).
Prior to joining ESMA in 2016, he worked in the investment management sector in Canada, Germany, Luxembourg and the UK where he held various legal, compliance and advisory positions. Kian is a German qualified attorney by education and holds a PhD from the Maastricht University.
