General Manager, Defined Benefit Assets & Liabilities, NSW State Super

Ms Pratt is currently General Manager, Defined Benefits, Assets & Liabilities, for NSW State Super, a $40 bil defined benefit fund for NSW public sector employees. She is responsible for ensuring State Super meets its asset-liability management objectives and provides input into funding policies and plans. In conjunction with the CIO and TCorp, she develops the most appropriate investment strategies for management of State Super’s Defined Benefit assets, and oversees implementation of the $35 bil TCorp investment outsourcing arrangement.  She is a member of State Super’s Management Investment Committee.

Before joining State Super, she was Head of Institutional, Australia & NZ, at Franklin Templeton Investments, held an equivalent role and was a partner at GMO Australia Ltd, as well as working in superannuation, product and consulting roles with NAB, MLC & Lend Lease.

Ms Pratt holds a MBA (Exec.) and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment, TFASFA and GAICD. She is also a Non Executive Director of Guild Trustee Services Ltd (Guild Super), the ACT Government DSSF Advisory Board, Crescent Finance Pty Ltd and has served on a number of industry association boards and committees.
