Ms. Johanna Collins-Wood is the General Counsel and Head of Compliance at Bitwise Asset Management (Bitwise) for their U.S. asset management business. She also serves as Chief Compliance Officer of Bitwise Investment Manager, an SEC-registered investment adviser and CFTC-registered commodity pool operator and commodity trading advisor. Prior to becoming General Counsel and Head of Compliance, Ms. Collins-Wood served as Deputy General Counsel at Bitwise and was previously Bitwise’s outside counsel while a senior associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati. She began her career at Davis Polk & Wardwell, where she practiced in the capital markets group in the firm’s New York and London offices. Ms. Collins-Wood received her J.D. and LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Duke University School of Law and her B.A. from Duke University, where she graduated magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
