Deputy Director, Financial Markets Division, Policy and Markets Bureau, JFSA // 金融庁企画市場局市場課課長補佐

Masato Yoshizawa joined the Financial Services Agency (JFSA) in 2016, where he has worked across a range of policy areas, including banking supervision and inspection, as well as cross-departmental policy planning.

He currently serves as Deputy Director in the Financial Markets Division, playing a role to the advance the Policy Plan for Promoting Japan as a Leading Asset Management Center, including the development of product governance principles for asset managers. He is also involved in legislative proposals to amend the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, submitted to the Diet in 2026, particularly in the areas of crypto-asset regulation and market abuse.

He holds a Master in Finance from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Data Science from the University of Manchester, and an LL.B. from the University of Tokyo.

2016年金融庁入庁後、「検査・監督基本方針」や「金融行政方針」の策定、人事・採用等に従事。

2024年より、企画市場局市場課において、資産運用立国の実現に向けた施策の推進(顧客本位の業務運営、プロダクトガバナンス等)及び令和8年改正金融商品取引法案(暗号資産・不公正取引規制等)を担当。

東京大学法学部卒、ケンブリッジ大学金融学修士、マンチェスター大学データサイエンス修士。
