Peter S. Kim is the Head of Global & Wholesale Division at KB Securities and Global Investment Strategist at KB Financial Group, Korea’s largest financial group. He leads KB Securities’ Institutional Sales Group, including Prime Brokerage Services, while also overseeing the Global Business Group.
With over 30 years of experience across New York, Hong Kong, and Seoul, he has held leadership roles on both the buy- and sell-side. He served as Country CEO of HSBC Securities Korea, worked as a portfolio manager for a long-only fund investing in equities and credit, and founded a Pan-Asia long-short hedge fund based in Hong Kong. He spent 15 years in Hong Kong and New York, building deep expertise in global markets and cross-border capital flows.
As Global Investment Strategist, Peter delivers sharp, data-driven macro insights to investors worldwide and is frequently quoted and featured in leading global financial media, including Bloomberg, CNBC, The New York Times, and the Financial Times.
