Senior General Manager, Head of Alternative Investment Dept., Japan Post Insurance // かんぽ生命保険 オルタナティブ投資部長
Mr. Naoyuki Igarashi overseas alternative investments –including private equity funds, hedge funds, infrastructure equity/debt funds, and real estate funds- as Senior General Manager and Head of Alternative Investment Department of Japan Post Insurance (“JPI”) .
He joined JPI in 2019 and initially focused on building the company’s private equity portfolio. Over the next five years, he worked on the asset allocation strategy, ultimately serving as General Manager and Head of the CIO Office, where he led the development and execution of JPI’s overall portfolio strategy.
Prior to joining JPI, Mr. Igarashi held various investment management roles at Taiyo Life Insurance, where he covered fixed income, equities, and alternative investments. His career spans both traditional and alternative asset classes, providing him with a comprehensive perspective on portfolio management and investment strategy within the Japanese life insurance industry.
Mr. Igarashi holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Keio University
かんぽ生命のオルタナティブ投資部長として同社のオルタナティブ投資（プライベート・エクイティ、ヘッジファンド、インフラ・エクイティ／デット、不動産）を統括。
2019年にかんぽ生命に入社、当初はプライベート・エクイティ投資を担当。以降5年間にわたりアセットアロケーション戦略に従事。運用企画部担当部長、直近では市場運用部企画役兼CIO室長を歴任し会社全体のポートフォリオ戦略の企画・実行を主導。
かんぽ生命入社以前は、太陽生命保険にて、債券、株式、オルタナティブなど幅広い資産クラスの運用業務に従事。
慶応義塾大学法学部法律学科卒
