Vivek Agarwalla

Vivek Agarwalla is the Head of MSCI’s South Asia Analytics Consulting team, based in Singapore. In this role, he partners with leading financial institutions to advance best practices in portfolio construction, factor investing, optimization, and risk management. A strong advocate for sustainable finance, he advises clients on integrating climate and ESG considerations into their investment strategies.

 

Over more than 13 years with MSCI, Vivek has worked with a broad spectrum of clients. He previously supported banks and hedge funds while based in London, and now collaborates closely with asset owners, central banks, and asset managers across South Asia.

 

Before joining MSCI, Vivek was with Credit Suisse, where he focused on equity structured trade pricing and independent price verification for credit and equities. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Delhi and a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

 

Vivek is a CFA Charterholder and holds the PRM designation. He has also earned the Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) Certificate from GARP and the Certificate in Sustainable Finance from the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadership.
