Jaclyn Bouchard

EVP, Head of ESG Solutions & Corporate Responsibility, Preqin

Jaclyn Bouchard is the EVP, Head of ESG Solutions & Corporate Responsibility at Preqin. In her role as the in-house subject matter expert on major environmental, social & governance (ESG) and sustainable finance concepts, Jaclyn is tasked with raising Preqin’s profile as the leading provider of ESG data and analytics for the alternative assets market by setting the vision and strategy for Preqin’s ESG product suite. Jaclyn also ensures ESG principles are embedded into Preqin’s culture through the implementation of a corporate responsibility strategy that considers all stakeholders when making business decisions.

Prior to Preqin, Jaclyn was the Director of ESG Products at S&P Global Ratings. As the strategic client facing lead, she grew S&P’s market share by translating market trends and issues facing companies and investors into best-in-class product solutions. She managed and continuously enhanced Ratings’ current ESG products and set the roadmap for future product developments.

Before transitioning to S&P Global Ratings, Jaclyn was the Global Lead of Sustainability & ESG at S&P Global. She and her team were accountable for the management of the Company’s ESG risks and opportunities, as well as disclosure to key stakeholders including investors. As the Global Lead, she spearheaded the responses to notable third party ESG assessments such as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) and Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), and company disclosures to frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Taskforce for Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).  

Jaclyn started her career at S&P Global in 2013. Previously, she worked in sales at Recyclebank, a New York City based start-up that focuses on clean technology and sustainability.

Jaclyn served as a member of the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association’s Board of Director’s Development Committee. She is a recipient of the Columbia University Earth Institute Sustainability Management Fellowship award for her academic performance, professional experience, and commitment to sustainability issues. In 2017, Jaclyn received the Responsible 100 award from City & State, which recognizes New York executives, thought leaders, visionaries, and influencers who are setting new standards of excellence, dedication, and leadership in sustainability.

Jaclyn holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Towson University, a master’s degree in Energy Management from New York Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in Sustainability Management from Columbia University.
