Vianne Xu, CFA, CFP, is Head of Research and Portfolio Manager at Our Family Office, a Canadian multifamily office serving ultra-high-net-worth families. She leads the firm's investment research and due diligence efforts, guiding strategic asset allocation decisions and manager selection across public and private markets.
With more than 20 years of investment industry experience, Vianne has built a career evaluating investment opportunities across traditional and alternative asset classes. Vianne brings an institutional investor's perspective to wealth management. Her expertise spans equities, fixed income, hedge funds, private equity, private credit, and real assets, with a focus on portfolio construction and manager research. Prior to joining Our Family Office, she held senior client and investment roles at Cidel Asset Management, Invesco Canada, and Letko Brosseau, where she advised and partnered with institutional investors including pension funds, endowments, and foundations, and high net worth investors.
A CFA charterholder and Certified Financial Planner, Vianne is a registered Portfolio Manager with the Ontario Securities Commission. She is known for applying institutional-quality investment discipline to family wealth management, combining rigorous research, thoughtful asset allocation, and a long-term perspective to help families preserve and grow capital across generations.
