Sophia Chung, Head of Securities Services, HSBC China. With over 19 years’ experience as a banker in China custody business of which more than 15 years have been with HBSC, Sophia has extensive experience in China custody business since 2003 when the regulators promulgated the QFII scheme to develop China securities market.
Sophia joined HSBC in China in 2007. She has a wealth of experience and knowledge built up across her career in Greater China region. She has been instrumental, along with the rest of the China team, in building our market leading position in the cross border investment business. In addition, Sophia has a critical understanding of business requirements, regulatory interactions as well as connectivity with industry players.
