Eric Chng

Eric Chng is Senior Managing Director for Global Alternatives at State Street. Operating within the Global Products Division, Eric is responsible for leading the strategy, value proposition and growth initiatives of hedge funds and private markets solutions in Asia and the Middle East. Eric partners with asset owners and managers to drive large-scale operating model transformations, leveraging State Street’s platform and comprehensive suite of capabilities.

 

With over two decades of experience spanning capital markets front office trading and investment services, Eric brings deep expertise in serving hedge fund and private markets clients. Prior to joining State Street in 2021, he held a number of leadership roles in product development, commercial management, client partnerships and strategic consulting. Eric holds a master's degree in business administration from Macquarie Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Business Management from the University of Bradford.
