Ms. Candy Cheung has 20 years of experience investing in hedge funds. She founded DanaLab in 2025, a strategic consulting firm dedicated to supporting emerging hedge fund managers. Prior to establishing DanaLab, Ms. Cheung was a Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at SAIL Advisors, a multi-billion dollar family office based in Hong Kong. During her 14 years at SAIL, Ms. Cheung managed the Asia hedge fund portfolio which delivered superior returns across market cycles, and was a member of the investment committee. Prior to SAIL, she allocated to Asian hedge funds at GAM, a global fund of funds, worked as a fund regulator at the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong, and was trained as an M&A banker at Merrill Lynch in New York. Ms. Cheung graduated from Wellesley College in the U.S. and is a CFA charterholder. She is native in Mandarin and Cantonese and conversational in Japanese.
