Head of Distribution, Bennelong Funds Management
Jonas is Bennelong Funds Management’s Head of Distribution, responsible for managing the national sales team and developing and implementing the sales strategy for both institutional and retail markets. The primary objectives of the role are to drive and generate sales revenue, service key clients, and drive business growth by positioning both existing and new investment offerings during various market conditions.
Jonas has 25 years of financial services experience in banking, capital markets and funds management. Before joining Bennelong in November 2015, he worked for seven years at Colonial First State across multiple roles. Most recently he was National Manager of Alliance and Multi Manager businesses from a distribution perspective, and was also involved in CFSGAM and CFS Alliance Partner research and consultant relationships.
Prior to CFS, Jonas worked as an institutional business development manager with alternatives boutique Select Asset Management. He has also held senior institutional business development roles at Absolute Capital, Sydney Futures Exchange and the Australian Stock Exchange.
Jonas holds a Diploma of Financial Services in Derivatives from the Australian Financial Markets Association and a Bachelor of Business from Newcastle University.
