Mr. Forman is the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of the Investment Manager, ParaFi Capital LLC. Mr. Forman has over a decade of investment experience across private and public markets. Prior to founding ParaFi, Mr. Forman was a Director at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. (“KKR”), a global investment firm with $168 billion of assets under management as of December 31, 2017. While at KKR, Mr. Forman focused on investing across the capital structure in a wide array of strategies, including liquid and private credit, special situations and public equities. Additionally, Mr. Forman served on KKR’s Innovation and Disruption Council as the Firm’s domain expert on the blockchain ecosystem, sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities in Digital Assets and companies in the sector.
Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Forman spent four years at TPG Sixth Street Partners, the dedicated credit investment platform of TPG Capital, L.P. (“TPG”), with over $20 billion of assets under management as of December 31, 2017. At TPG, Mr. Forman served as a Vice President and was one of the first employees dedicated to the Firm’s private credit business, TPG Specialty Lending, Inc., which publicly listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2014. Prior to TPG, Mr. Forman worked at Littlejohn & Co., a middle market private equity firm, and Rothschild & Co., an M&A and restructuring investment bank. As an early investor in the Digital Asset market since 2013, Mr. Forman has developed a deep network and expertise in the blockchain sector. Mr. Forman graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
