Connall McGuckian

Connall McGuckian is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for State Street’s Alternative Investment Solutions business unit in Asia Pacific, managing a team that specializes in fund administration for the Hedge, Private Markets and Real Assets sectors. Based in Singapore, Connall also acts as the legal entity head and director of State Street Fund Services (Singapore) Pte. Limited and is a director of State Street Trust (SG) Limited.

 

Connall joined State Street as part of the firm’s acquisition of Goldman Sachs Administration Services (GSAS) in 2012 and lead State Street’s hedge fund administration business in Asia prior to assuming the COO role in 2020. Prior to that, Connall worked for GSAS for nine years, providing fund administration services for a large portfolio of hedge fund clients based in Europe, the United States and Asia. He relocated from Ireland to Singapore in 2011 to establish and develop GSAS’s business in the region. Connall has over 20 years of experience in the fund administration industry. His previous experience in the fund industry also includes four years with Deutsche International Ireland Ltd.

 

Connall holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in business studies and Japanese from the University of Ulster.
