Jian is a Partner and Geomarket Head for Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. He helps clients navigate the strategic, geopolitical and operational risks that shape decision-making in one of the world's most dynamic markets.
Jian came to advisory work through the client side of risk, and that perspective shapes his approach. He is adept at translating Control Risks' geopolitical and operational expertise into insight that fits the way Hong Kong-based investors and operators make decisions.
Jian holds a PhD in Finance, an Executive MBA (Dean's List), an MSc in Finance, a BSc in International Finance and a Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF). He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and has published research on corporate governance. Alongside his native Mandarin and Cantonese, he speaks English.
