Dr. Cindy Ma

Dr. Cindy Ma is Global Head of Houlihan Lokey’s Portfolio Valuation and Fund Advisory Services, where she advises alternative asset managers and corporate clients on valuing illiquid, private and complex securities across capital structures and geographies. A recognized authority on valuation, derivatives, and risk management, she has also served as a consulting expert for the U.S. SEC on fund valuation-related matters. Dr. Ma, CFA, holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Columbia University and serves on the IVSC Financial Instruments Board. She frequently speaks at industry conferences on private markets, valuation best practices, and emerging financial innovations.
