Before his role as vCISO, Ian served as the Director ofInformation Security for Europe at Thrive, where he providedsolutions and insight on solving client security risks with his deepexperience in hands-on cybersecurity, architecture andtechnology.
Ian was a key Digital Architect, focused on secure transformationat Microsoft, contributing to digital consulting services andtransformation roadmaps for large Irish manufacturing, retailand financial services businesses. His experience included digitaltransformation, blockchain in the supply chain, IoT power utilityDSM, mixed reality, connected field service with remoteassistance and more.
He also held critical cybersecurity and digital transformationconsultant and leadership roles at other esteemed organizations,including Leman Solicitors, Capital Markets Consulting, PrologueCapital, London Diversified Fund Management, OptionsTechnology, Fauchier Partners and Align.
Ian holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science fromUniversity College Dublin, an Executive MBA from Quantic Schoolof Business and Technology and other notable certifications.
