Jeroen M. Tielman is Head Institutional Relations as well as a personal investor with Theta Blockchain Ventures (www.thetacapital.com).
Furthermore, Jeroen is the founder and chairman of QStone Capital (www.QStoneCapital.com), an asset management boutique developing (project) finance solutions in the industrial waste-water treatment and recycling technology market (SDG 6) mainly in India and Bangladesh.
Finally, Jeroen is an Independent Non-Executive Director of True Partner Capital, the manager of a volatility arbitrage hedge fund listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (GEM) and founder/advisor to the board of RecStone Water Treatment Technologies, India.
Prior to founding QStone Capital, Jeroen was the founder and CEO of the closed-end IMQubator Multi Manager Funds, an independent seeding and acceleration platform for hedge fund- and private equity strategies, to which APG committed €250mln for a seven year term in January 2009.
Preceding IMQubator, Jeroen was the Managing Director Commerce, Strategy and Innovation at Cordares N.V. (currently part of APG), a Dutch EUR 24bn pension investment management firm for the Dutch construction industry.
In 2000 Jeroen founded investment product-engineering boutique FundPartners, which employed 12 professionals of different nationalities and was backed by pension asset manager PGGM as a launching customer and financier.
Jeroen started his career at ABN AMRO in 1986 where he served several roles in investment research, institutional stockbroking (New York City: 1988 – 1992), corporate finance/M&A Telecom and in his last role at ABN AMRO he was the global head of product development at ABN AMRO Asset Management (1996-2000) and a director of several ABN AMRO investment funds.
Jeroen holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and is a registered investment analyst (RBA). In 2023 he completed the CFA module “DeFi: Introduction to Blockchain and Crypto”.
