RENAE GRIFFIN    
Ms. Griffin is a thought-leader and influencer with over 35 years of experience driving change, expanding opportunities, access, and inclusion in the investment management industry.  She is recognized for developing effective marketing strategies, and designing educational programs for institutional investors, federal, state, and local government agencies, corporations, and non-profits to expand their exposure to high-quality diverse investment managers and business partners.  She is a savvy relationship builder, forging alliances with industry leaders and partners to innovate and drive change in the investment management industry.  
In 2017, Ms. Griffin joined GCM Grosvenor a global alternative investment management firm.  She is a Managing Director responsible for strategic development, business development, and growth of the firm’s small, emerging, and diverse manager investment platform, where she also serves on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. 


Prior, Ms. Griffin was CEO of RG + Associates, a consulting firm she founded and managed for 17 years, pioneering the first, and longest running educational conference focused on emerging and diverse asset managers, helping thousands of MWBEs gain exposure and access to capital both domestically and internationally.  


She is an active member of National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP), a Steering Committee Member of the Private Equity Women Investment Network (PEWIN), a member of the Real Estate Executive Council (REEC), member of the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC), Women in Alternatives Working Committee, and a national board member for the Girls Leadership Institute. She also co-founded Women of Color in Investments (WOCII), a network that supports senior women in personal and professional development.  


Ms. Griffin received her Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of San Francisco.  She also holds her Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
