Ms. Kelner is a co-founder and Senior Partner of Sandglass Capital Advisors, LLC, an alternative asset manager specializing in emerging and frontier markets. She is responsible for overseeing and developing Sandglass' business and is a senior member of the firm's investment committee. Ms. Kelner was previously a senior partner and strategist with Prince Street Capital, an investment firm that specializes in emerging and frontier markets, where she led the firm’s business development and served on the investment committee. Before joining Prince Street, Ms. Kelner spent 7 years as a portfolio manager and trader at hedge funds Tudor Investments, SAC Capital and Hermitage Capital, where she focused on emerging markets investments. She also spent 6 years as an investment banker, having begun her career at JP Morgan Securities in fixed income trading. Ms. Kelner graduated with distinction from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia where she concentrated in Finance. She is a frequent guest lecturer at UVA, her alma mater, and often invited to speak on emerging markets at other top business schools.
