Plato So is the Head of Hedge Funds and Public Markets at Shamal Holding. At Shamal, Plato is responsible for managing Shamal’s hedge funds and equities portfolios. Prior to joining Shamal, Plato was an investment professional at CPP Investments, the second-largest North American pension fund. While at CPP Investments in London and Hong Kong, Plato was responsible for the investment research and due diligence of a variety of global investment strategies. Plato was a key contributor to the growth of the firm’s Asia Pacific hedge funds and long-only equities portfolios. Plato holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Oxford.
