Jo is a partner and director of HFL Advisors Limited, a governance and sound practice alternative investments advisory platform based in Hong Kong. She acts as an independent director for hedge funds running a range of strategies across asset classes. Prior to this she held a number of senior positions in investment banking as a member of the regional management committee and servicing hedge fund clients. Jo was COO and partner for the launch of First Horse Capital in 2007 and served as the General Manager for the AIMA HK Branch (2009 and 2010). Jo is an active participant on the AIMA APAC Development Committee and contributed to the 2021 update of the AIMA Fund Director Guide. She has over 30 years’ experience in financial services across HK, London, Singapore and Australia.
