John Slevin

John spent over two decades serving in the New York City Police Department, serving in a variety of positions ranging from Internal Affairs where he investigated use of force by members of the NYPD and Special Victims, where he supervised physical and sexual assaults against children.  For the majority of his career, John was being assigned to the New York Joint Terrorism Task Force, where he supervised national security investigations. The New York Joint Terrorism Task Force is an organization comprised of over 500 members from over 60 agencies with investigative responsibility with responsibility for the prevention of terrorist acts and the investigation of attacks in New York City and 17 New York counties, in addition to the extraterritorial responsibility for the investigation of terrorist activity against U.S. persons and interests in Africa, Canada and Western Europe.
