Head of Function – Innovation Strategy and Policy, Cross Sectoral Policy Division, Central Bank of Ireland
Miriam is currently Head of Innovation Strategy and Policy in the Central Bank of Ireland and responsible for the Innovation Hub and Innovation Sandbox Programme. Miriam has 13 years Central Bank experience having previously held senior roles leading the Bank’s Stockbroking Supervision Function, Investment Firm Authorisation Function and the Bank’s Client Asset Specialist Team. Prior to joining the Central Bank, Miriam has worked as a senior finance professional in industry holding previous roles as Head of Finance for Cantor Fitzgerald Stockbrokers, Finance Director for Eversheds Sutherland Law Firm and Head of Finance for JM Huber Corporation alongside the position of executive director on the Board. Miriam trained as an Accountant with Allied Irish Bank and has lectured part time in the ACCA accounting foundation course in Independent Colleges Dublin. Miriam was also included in the Sunday Business Post’s ‘Fintech 15’ article acknowledging the women leading the fintech agenda in the Irish ecosystem.
