Senior Investment Analyst, Public Assets, The Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
Ali is a Senior Analyst at the CMPA. Along with the Public team, Ali provides quantitative due diligence and manager oversight of Canadian Bonds, Public US Loans, Public Equity and Absolute Return strategies. He is a CFA Charterholder and has a master’s degree in Finance from McGill University and a BBA degree from Kuwait University. Prior to joining CMPA in 2019, Ali had internship experiences at PSP Investments and Kamco Investment Company, contributing to the Emerging Markets team and Investment Research group, respectively.
The CMPA is a mutual defence organization for Canadian physicians that also advances patient safety and compensates patients harmed by negligent care. The CMPA’s investment portfolio is a key component in supporting the CMPA’s long-term sustainability.
