AIMA Canada announces new Executive Committee

  • AIMA Canada announces new Executive Committee for 2026-28 term, Mackenzie Shaw, Principal at Westcourt Capital will assume the role of Chair
  • Andrew Biggs, Head of Operational Due Diligence, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, David De Pastena, Director, Head of Portfolio Insights at Dynamic Funds, Kripa Kapadia, Principal, Client and Product Solutions at RPIA, and Peter Goulos, Managing Director, Prime Services, National Bank Independent Network will be joining as members for their first term.
  • The AIMA Canada Executive Committee is made up of prominent local fund managers and institutional investors who guide AIMA’s mission in the region.

AIMA Canada, the National Group of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) in Canada has formed its new Executive Committee for the 2026-2028 term.   

Elevating to Chair is Mackenzie Shaw, Principal at Westcourt Capital, who previously served as a member on the committee. She succeeds Liam O’Sullivan, Principal, Head, Client & Product Solutions at RPIA LP, following his 1 term as Chair. Liam is now serving on the AIMA Council (Board of Directors). 

Also joining is Andrew Biggs, Head of Operational Due Diligence at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and succeeding Mark Hannoush, Managing Director, Due Diligence & Advisory at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, who served 2 terms.  

Peter Goulos, Managing Director, Prime Services, National Bank Independent Network and succeeding Mike Tocheri, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, National Bank Independent Network, who served 2 terms. 

David De Pastena, Director, Head of Portfolio Insights at Dynamic Funds and Kripa Kapadia, Principal, Client and Product Solutions at RPIA will also be joining as members for their first term. 

The AIMA Canada Executive Committee serves to ensure AIMA acts internally and externally as a single and coherent association, true to its global strategic nature, while fostering local member engagement, initiatives and programming.

The new Executive Committee, which will serve from September 2026 to August 2028, is as follows:
