Introducing theĀ AIMA Hedge Fund Confidence Index
The AIMA Hedge Fund Confidence Index (HFCI) is a new global index which measures the level of confidence that hedge funds have in the economic prospects of their business over the next 12 months. A product of AIMA, Simmons & Simmons and Seward & Kissel, the HFCI is calculated at a specified point in time with the index published at the end of each quarter. When considering how best to measure their level of economic confidence, hedge fund respondents should take into account the following factors ; their firm’s ability to raise capital, their firm’s ability to generate revenue and manage costs, and the overall performance of their fund(s).
We are pleased to present you with the first HFCI derived from the responses of over 200 hedge fund firms globally. Please do let us know your thoughts and look out for the next HFCI to be published in March 2021.
The AIMA's Hedge Fund Confidence Index is is available to members and non-members of AIMA. For more information about the report, please contact AIMA’s Global Head of Research and Communications, Tom Kehoe ([email protected])
