CAIA Curriculum

The Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst program provides a broad-based curriculum in alternative investments. The program covers the main areas of hedge funds, managed futures, commodities, real assets, private equity, and structured products.

CAIA Exams

Exams are held semi-annually in March and September at testing centers worldwide and, where applicable, via an online proctored format from a home or remote, secure location.

Process for registration for on-line proctored exam: Registrants will be given the option to opt-in to an online proctored exam and, if this selection is made, will be sent information for technical requirements and scheduling.

1. Create a CAIA account. 
2. Email CAIA at [email protected] to let us know of your interest in registering for the exam. Please include your CAIA account number and your organization’s name for verification. 
3. After your discount has been approved, our team will send you a message with next steps.
