State Street Speakers Biography: 

Aisling Keane,  Senior MD. APAC Head of Alternative Investment Solutions, State Street 

Aisling Keane is a senior vice president and head of Alternative Investment Solutions (AIS), Asia Pacific. Ms. Keane is responsible for leading our hedge, private equity and private real estate operations in the region.
She has a strong background in building and leading successful alternatives businesses in Asia and most recently held senior management positions at Credit Suisse and BNP Paribas.
Prior to these roles, she had 16 years of experience working at State Street in both our Dublin and Hong Kong offices, including head of International Funds Services (IFS) in APAC.
Ms. Keane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and computer studies and a Masters in economics both from University College Cork.

 

Dan Gerard, VP, Senior Multi-Asset Strategist, State Street Global Markets, APAC

Dan and his team focuses on markets analysis, portfolio construction, asset allocation, investor behaviour, optimisation, private markets, and ESG investing. Previously he was the head of the advisory group that bridges SSGM multi-asset strategy and State Street Associates (SSA) in Asia Pacific. SSA, which is State Street’s partnership with academia, and the Investment Advisory group focused on new insights and perspectives as well as quantifying those perspectives through the creation of indicators. Dan combines State Street’s indicators with fundamental and quantitative analysis to publish new ideas, strategies, and models for investors the region. Prior to this Dan ran the North American Equity Research Sales group at State Street Global Markets in Boston, providing investment ideas and strategies to the portfolio managers and investment analysts at mutual funds, hedge funds, and investment advisors. Dan is a regular contributor to Bloomberg, CNBC and regional financial media.

 

Neill Clark, CFA, Vice President, Head of State Street Associates, EMEA

Neill is Vice President and Head of State Street Associates® in EMEA - the partnership between State Street Global Markets® and renowned academics at Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, Boston College and EDHEC Business School, dedicated to delivering insights derived from differentiated datasets and bespoke portfolio construction, risk management and investment strategy research to help institutional investors enhance investment performance and manage risk. Prior to his association with State Street Associates, he was part of the Foreign Exchange Institutional Sales, FX Options Trading and Multi-Asset Strategy Research groups at State Street Global Markets®. Neill is an Executive MBA candidate at London Business School, holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Business Economics with Finance from the University of Surrey and has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.

 

Qi Wang, Vice President, Head of Research, State Street Associates, APAC

Qi Wang represents State Street Associates in the Asia Pacific region - the partnership between State Street Global Markets® and renowned academics at Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, Boston College and EDHEC Business School, dedicated to delivering insights derived from differentiated datasets and bespoke portfolio construction, risk management and investment strategy research to help institutional investors enhance investment performance and manage risk. She joined State Street from the index business arm of EDHEC business school, where she was leading the development of risk and asset allocation models. Prior to EDHEC, she was a quantitative researcher at JP Morgan. Qi has both a Master and Ph.D. in Statistics and a BS in applied math.
