AIMA Australia is pleased to invite you to our upcoming member education forum to be held from 12.00pm on Wednesday February 20th in at Allen & Overy, Sydney.

This session will discuss Initial Margin and how this will shortly impact buyside entities including hedge funds and investment funds. We will cover some of the legal background to Initial Margin; focus on the lessons learned from earlier phases; and set out what you need to do to be ready for these changes.

In particular we will cover the regulatory backdrop to the Initial Margin requirements from an AUS, EU and US perspective before turning to consider the steps that need to be taken in preparing for Initial Margin. We will focus on the documents that will need to be put in place and some of the key points that arise in the negotiation of such documents.
