The regulatory developments in China continue being dynamic in many different respects, against China’s efforts to attract foreign investors, maintain the stability of the market, and boost economy. Many of those developments are relevant to foreign fund and asset managers, including the 2024 legislative agenda recently announced by the Chinese securities regulator, and certain draft rules issued by the Chinese securities regulator in consultation with market players.
