AIMA, in partnership with Simmons & Simmons, is delighted to invite members to an in-person gathering of Ireland’s alternative investment community in Dublin.

The member briefing will examine the latest market, policy and regulatory developments shaping the alternative investment industry. Alongside an update on AIMA’s key initiatives and advocacy priorities, the programme will feature a keynote address from Brian Corr, Head of the International Financial Services Unit at the Department of Finance and panel discussion on the Government’s new Ireland for Finance: Vision 2030 – Renewed and Refocussed for a Digital Age.

Launched in 2026, Vision 2030 sets out the Government’s strategy for supporting the continued development of Ireland’s international financial services sector through the end of the decade. The discussion will consider what the strategy means in practice for Ireland’s funds and asset management industry, including its focus on:

• Simplifying and modernising financial services legislation, including a commitment to legislation supporting tokenisation;
• High-impact sectors, including funds and asset management, with a particular focus on the growth of private asset structures, and digital assets;
• Transformation and innovation, supported by a dedicated financial services innovation remit within the Department of Finance; and
• Skills, talent, diversity and inclusion.
