AIMA roundtable - IMR, its implications and practical advice 24 months on

Australia

Over 2 years ago the Investment Manager Regime (IMR) was implemented with the aim of providing long term certainty for non-resident funds and funds that engage Australia fund managers.  Since then, there have been some instances where confusion has arisen and differences of opinion have been seen.  This round table will be a refresher on IMR, a look at how it stands more than 2 years on and most importantly what your firm needs to be doing from a practical point of view to gain and retain IMR compliance.

This session will be particularly useful if you are the investment manager to a Cayman Fund.

This round table will be held under the Chatham House rule on April 5th, 2018, from 12.15pm till 2.00pm.

Chaired by: Nikki Bentley, Partner, Norton Rose Fulbright

Speakers include: Antoinette Elias, Tax Partner, EY.

A light lunch will be served.
